Findlay Media is proud to be the exclusive media partner for World Skills UK in the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Through this website and Engineering Careers, Findlay Media is working to inspire and encourage the next generation of manufacturing and design engineers. And with the support of its industry partners, Findlay works to raise awareness of the many exciting career opportunities available in manufacturing through apprenticeships and graduate entry schemes.

Employers can play their part, too. To demonstrate and promote the skills of the UK’s young people, employers are encouraged to put forward their best candidates to compete in this year’s World Skills UK competitions. Winners of the national competitions ultimately go through to compete on the world stage. World Skills UK national competitions are open for registrations from 11 February to 22 March 2013. Use the World Skills pre-competition Activity Toolkit to help you put forward your best candidates.

Elsewhere, this website provides direct access to a world of exciting opportunities, inspiring case studies and news of engineering
skill events. We hope you find the website useful.
